• Group discussions of disciplinary data sets that can be vertically integrated into synthesis papers for each ISS, with the intention of providing a baseline for cross-ISS correlations of characteristics and processes.
• Note: Coffee/Snacks will be refreshed at 1015 but each group picks its own time to break.
1130 Plenary - ISS Working Group reports and Q&A - moderated by Org. Comm.

1330 Thematic Working Groups - 3rd meeting
• Opportunity for cross TWG meetings or for some participants go to their secondary TWG.
Note: to avoid repetition, some group leaders must stay with their group, and ideally at least half of the original group should also stay.
• Refining of plans, further discussions of observations to be integrated.

• Presentation of preliminary outlines of TWG papers, topics, authors
Each working group presentation should be 15 min – 5 min for presentation of listing of paper ideas, abstract, and authors, and 10 min for discussion.
Note: this is a second opportunity for participants to comment/contribute on a topic or other working group that they have not attended, so there needs to be time for discussion.
