Recent Research Highlights and citations
Please visit this web page and add a short description of new findings. Please also add your recent publications or manuscripts to this page. There is also a link to the report from the 2008 EPR Integration and Synthesis Workshop.
Discussion topics including progress since the 2008 EPR workshop (list ideas and suggestions here):
• New highlights of cross-disciplinary understanding (add these to the Research Highlights page)
• outstanding gaps in data or knowledge about system linkages and processes
• process at disciplinary boundaries
• short and long term system responses to volcanic events
• combination of time series datasets in different disciplines - is there enough spatial and temporal overlap?
• how much variation exists within the ISS and what extent of this is expressed within the "bulls-eye"?
Ways to spur integration
• Get synopses of latest results and findings onto the wiki, references, references in prep, etc..
• Keep lines of communication open
• Consider writing one or more papers/monograph about what we know about linkages and processes at the EPR-ISS, and outstanding questions.
• This might allow comparison of other ISSes to EPR, using EPR as a reference site for well-understood ridge processes.
